CLOSURE WINE CARE

SIP

Every story deserves the right setting — and every pour deserves the right glass.

We recommend sipping your CLOSURE wine from a medium to large-sized stemmed glass, ideally one designed for your wine’s varietal. For Cabernet Sauvignon, choose a glass with a wider bowl to enhance bold aromas and soften tannins. For Sauvignon Blanc or Rosé, opt for a slightly smaller bowl to preserve crispness and elevate bright, fresh notes.

Holding the stem also keeps the temperature just right — because flavor, like healing, is best when it’s not rushed.

STORE

Your wine deserves better than a forgotten shelf or a sunny kitchen counter.

Store unopened bottles on their side in a cool, dark space — ideally between 55–60°F. Side storage keeps the cork moist, which helps maintain a tight seal and prevents oxidation.

Once opened, reseal with the original cork or a wine stopper/vacuum pump and stand the bottle upright in the fridge. If tightly corked and refrigerated a Cabernet Sauvignon is best consumed in 3-5 days, a Rosé wine and Sauvignon Blanc 2-3 days.

Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

Recommended Temperature: 60–65°F (or chilled, if preferred)

This Cabernet Sauvignon is ready to enjoy immediately after opening. It does not require decanting and maintains its structure and depth without extended aeration and will open up with new flavor profiles as you indulge. It can also be enjoyed chilled, depending on personal preference.

It is a very easy-going wine (unlike the narcissist in real life).

Santa Barbara County Sauvignon Blanc

Recommended Temperature: 45–50°F

Serve well chilled in a narrow glass to preserve its crisp, bright citrus and zesty notes. Best enjoyed cold to highlight the wine’s natural acidity and freshness.

The One That Got Away –

California Rosé wine

Recommended Temperature: 45–50°F

This rosé is best served well chilled, especially in outdoor or warm-weather settings where the temperature of the wine can rise quickly. Use a stemmed glass to maintain optimal serving temperature and preserve the delicate flavors.
